It seems that the food park trend is here to stay that we needed to make a blog out of it. To stay on top of the food game, let us introduce you the newest type of food destination in the Philippines, the food parks.
2016 has been basically the year for food parks. More and more of this type of business had cropped all over the country throughout last year. The reason why food parks have been so in-demand especially for youngsters or millennial is that they offer a promising variety of quick eats conveniently housed in one place, most with an Instagram-worthy setting to boot.
Teachers Hanna, Enjell, Mao, Jean, Misty, Jade and Grace took a short break from giving lessons to try the newest food park in our beloved town, Lingayen, the El Kapitolyo Food Park (The Capitol Food Park).
Because of the popularity of food parks, business owners who wanted to put up this kind of business had to think deeper on what kind of unique theme are they going to use to attract more customers and to set them apart from everyone else. At the same time, a well-curated food selection is a must to make sure that diners will enjoy good and quality food at affordable prices.
The teachers are looking equally gorgeous while they are waiting for their orders.
But wait, what did they order?
Shawarma is a Levantine meat preparation, where lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, veal, or mixed meats are placed on a spit (commonly a vertical spit in restaurants), and may be grilled for as long as a day. Shavings are cut off the block of meat for serving, and the remainder of the block of meat is kept heated on the rotating spit. Shawarma can be served on a plate (generally with accompaniments), or as a sandwich or wrap. Shawarma is usually eaten with tabbouleh, fattoush, taboon bread, tomato, and cucumber. Toppings include tahini, hummus, pickled turnips, and amba.
Food parks are the biggest things that have happened to anyone who loves going on food trips! The food is always great, and there is a wide selection of cuisines. Eating with your friends and family? Order from different stalls, so everyone can have a taste of everything.
Teachers were glad to see different stalls they could choose from. There were shawarmas, burgers, fries, sandwiches, and many other kinds of delicious and affordable food.
Can someone eat that all by himself?
We dare you to!
How is it, teachers? Please share!!!
